Collection of pipe- this is my one of my favorite crafter that my husband and i visited yesterday. I stumble on one of his collection and took a picture of it. His shop is amazing. I bet most of the guy would dream of a collection of tools and a bunch of antiques.

Ceramic Bowl

When I was a kid I always dream to be a pottery person who creat a special and unique bowl out of my hands. I was fortunate to have this experience now that I'm old enough and have a courage to try it. My family was very supportive by coming out and taking the class with me. Our teacher Ms. Fried is a very talented person and very precise on teaching us some very informative pieces to do pottery. We did some wheel throwing, glazing, coiling and many more. I love to do it again someday.
Down here I post the picture of my handmade bowl. I now use it as a rice bowl. It does keep the heat longer than a usual bowl and that's make it more unique. The spackle give it a rustic look that I think will made it more interesting to look at too. After this experience I want to collect a bunch of bowl to display on my house. This kind of craft is surely a hard work especially in detailing a bowl or any kind of pieces a pottery.

Shelter

Title: Shelter was the biggest commission piece that I have ever done. I'm so thankful to the Hoppings family to give their trust to do this one of a kind painting.

When I was in 4th year high school I compete along with Joy Fresnido, my batch mate in Cavite Institute. She and I always battle in art contest and she always winning the first place and I always fall for 2nd or third place. The school decided to do some duo. Our tandem on competing other school was phenomenon. We won the trophy and each one of us got a 1000 Pesos cash price. It was a big accomplishment for the school and also to us. That public painting on the hugh wall was very meaningful on what am I now. I would also never forget Mrs. Koni Pascual who gave some one hour lesson and draft before competition. She was a blessing in disguise . God bless her heart for helping young soul.

Pegasus

This is Mr. John Gibson horse for art guild project. One day he called and ask for my help to do some paint job on his project. When he drop by to give his box were he put his acrylic paint. He told me to use it for the horse. I was kind of not sure if i like the color choices that's in there. I told my husband that I'm not going to use the paint that he hand me over. I already had the idea for the color when I saw the horse that he maid and sure enough i let it sit to my art room for a long period of time till I we drove to home depot to buy the color I want. I also put the star on the neck and forehead to show some real action. The wings is very well handcraft of Mr. Gibson that I don't think I can do it in a million years.
After I finish the horse I ask him if he wanted it back so he can build a stand for it. And he sure want it. Hopefully he won't use a power washer to wash all out the spray paint that I did. To tell everyone the truth I'm not good in spray painting. I guest I pin point what I mean to it and he was a perfectionist. I hope I didn't drive him nuts. ^_^

Tin Tab

Speaking of recycling and making it as an art. Here is one of my hobby for almost 5 yrs. I have had been collecting this tab. I get it from a coke and a dog food. At first it was just nothing until I realize most of my family member are so addicted to soda, beer etc. so to make thing short I save all the tab to show how unhealthy they are not how much I wanted to make it out of something. I know how horrible I am just to do it but now I collect it for no reason and will donate it to the art guild. Each artist receive a plastic horse to do some sculpture and design it with anything I told my mother in law who is the organizer of this project that I will make a knight horse out of my tab. She was so ecstatic that I am going to donate my tab. At first I am not sure about what the heck I am doing but realize later on that it is for a good cause. And sharing my talent always makes me feel on the top of the world.

Ceramic Bird

Art for me is truly in different kind of form. Nature is the best inspiration and can always change your mood. When I was in high school I remember that we have this club. A kind of club that you recycle an unused materials and make it something useful. We make a lot of different stuff out of the garbage. We use bottle to do some Christmas tree. We recycle a telephone book into beads and a basket. But being in the wheel doing pottery is the most I enjoy but also hate. I guest because when u had the product that u made in hand is fulfilling. Especially when it came out unique. I hate it because the process was the most difficult thing to do. I was almost ready to give up but I guess art is something that u need to be patient of or else you'll finish nothing.

Wheat Field

After driving a long hour drive with my husband I had been so observative with the field that we are passing by. I decided to paint it because it was beautiful. The weather was also make the Canadian goose to fly out here in mid west. I couldn't imagine how far they can go but they are absolutely gorgeous. Seeing them on the ground and sometimes out there making a loud noise, make me want to catch it. As if they want u to notice them.
