Cubism

I'm stretching and learning in my Art. I want to know how far can I get to different style using the same painting that I did. I like Picasso's art but I'm a big fan of Van Gogh. The big challenge that I'm facing right now is blending colors and putting a harmony on my idea.

When I was a child I used to use a chalk and draw on the street. Its obviously look like a kids drawing. Back then its like a masterpiece. With an awe and proudness to myself. After awhile I study hard and finish college not as an artist but as a comsci. I hate it so bad and I feel like I waste my year and life on it instead of studying what I really love. I work and met my husband later in life and he's actually the one who put color again in this black and white life I had. Since then I keep pushing hard and learning to the time I've lost. Patching all those gap and I'm pretty bless...

Please enjoy this creation that I made and hope it will inspire you like i do.

Abstract

I love cubism and abstract. It's like art for grown ups that want to have fun like a little child. But sometimes a lot of art now doesn't mean anything. It's just becoming garbage because everyone can do it. Splashing paint on the canvas or just putting a lot of weird things on the panel. Let's say a nail on the white wall... Heck!!! Are you serious? Or am I the only one who's not in this world... Ahhh I guess I'm to judgmental but the reality is abstract always make you think and get lost in the universe... Whatever it is life is full or creation we just have to stop and look around... Even a nature show some abstract art...

Here's the art that I did maybe you guys will wonder and scratch your head...

The first one i done in IPhone (IDraw).
The second one I done with pen and plywood.
Third one I done with paper and conte

Ferry boat

Everyday when I wake up in the morning and hearing the ferry boat crossing the Ohio River there's this beautiful old folks who always walk by greeting one another. My favorite lady Ms. Sue with her cleaning gadget. Peggy the lab dog who always checking the water front with her master. Mr. Gibson walking Baxter 4 times a day. And the old guy who always sitting next to caboose wearing red shirt all the time. Same old stuff that I would never forget about this small town their ferry boat. As I've hear its been running even the water hit hight or low. People pay 5 dollars to go to another side of the state. Easy commute to cross over to Kentucky to Ohio and fun ride too. I hope you guys enjoy my ferry boat painting...

The Drummer Boy

My father in-law has an eye on this intriguing vibrant color and art abstractions. I am experimenting on his technique and it wasn't difficult as what I expected it to be. But of course you still must have at least a little knowledge of which color can give a dramatic impact. Color has a lot of meaning and can give affect on the composition itself. Here's one of the work I made.
